Every year, Shanghai Huayang selects outstanding talents from major maritime colleges in China to enrich its crew team. We attach great importance to the training of our senior crew members. After nearly 30 years of cultivation and accumulation, our senior crew team has grown to over 2,200 people, and everyone has a diploma or above from top maritime colleges. Many members have become the backbone of our operations across various fronts, such as captain, chief engineer, chief officer, and chief mate.
Shanghai Huayang organizes collective training for newly recruited maritime students every year, which hones their willpower, strengthens their physical fitness, nurtures their sense of honor, and enhances their cohesion. The crew members trained through this approach have excellent professional capabilities, solid personal qualities, a strong service orientation, resilience, and the ability to meet job requirements in various work environments and conditions.
